Photography isn’t just taking photos for fun; it isn’t just taking pictures for Instagram to impress your friends. Photos aren’t just photos. Photography is a beautiful way of expressing your character.
Taking pictures can be great when you go out and you’re hanging out with friends, no matter where you are, downtown, at your friend’s house, going on a simple walk, or even just in your own home taking pictures of your pets. Photography is a way to capture what you find beautiful and what you care about in that moment.
Photography is also a way to express your interest in things, even if you hate taking photos. At times, when you’re out with family and find something you find really funny, you’re going to take a photo of it. It’s a time capsule, and is something that you can look back on and remember either with a positive or negative outlook.
Photography is a Time-Capsule

What I find so beautiful about photography is not just the photos and how the color may be appealing or the mountains may look beautiful, but how the photographer chose that moment to really focus on. The way the sun was rising over Mount Everest, or how a protest was becoming violent in New York City.
It’s all about how the photographers choose a moment and a scene to take their photos. In photography, you want to take the best photos you can. Rather than the look of a photo, what’s more important is the feeling you get from the photo. Photography is a beautiful art of showing what you can get from a photo and imagine that is happening.
Personally, I’m now getting into photography. Ever since I was a kid I have always taken photos. I take photos of what I find important or what I find beautiful. I’m very sentimental, and I love when I can go back and look at photos from a year ago, or two years ago, or even ten years ago, and see times in my life that I can’t live again but I can be grateful for. Taking pictures means a lot to me, and I wish that everyone can se

e photography the same way that I do and the beautiful aspects of it.
When we look back at photos from 100 years ago, it can help us imagine what it was like in those times. Whether it be a war, a different culture, or 1970’s fashion, it shows us what life was like when we weren’t there and able to experience those things. It also gives us a good insight on what that life was like. It’s the easiest way to share our story to others.
Important in our daily lives
Photography can show milestones like birthdays, weddings, vacations, and even tragedies like funerals and other sad moments in your life. Our life is full of big moments, and capturing them is a way to freeze time and hold on to those memories.
It’s an emotional, creative, and expressive art that may not seem important to others. It’s something you can use to bond with your grandparents as they show you photos from when they were a kid, or when they were in high school. You can sit down and bond with them as they remember things from when they were younger and feel as if they’re living back in those photos. It’s a way to connect with those around you.
Photography is important and it always will be. We’ll look back at photos from 2026 or from 2010 and will feel something. Your children will feel something as they look at your high school photos or the embarrassing middle school phase you went through. They’ll feel more connected to you as you share moments of your life that you have captured.
Rebbeca Hunnicutt, a personal photographer who has had a love for photography since she was young wrote about in her article about the importance of photography in our lives. Something I wanted to point out was how she mentions what happens when you ask people what they would do if their house caught on fire, what valuables would they save?
“What we would save in case of emergency in our homes:

When asked what you would want to save from your home in a fire or natural disaster, photos and videos are the primary items listed as non-replaceable. We’re lucky now that we can archive our photos in the cloud, but nothing is better than a printed photo in an album or on the wall.”
I think this is a wonderful example of showing why photography is important in our lives.
You don’t need photography to live your life. You don’t need photography to remember everything you’ve done or every place you’ve been. However, it’s a beautiful communication device and form of art that can be used for centuries, in a way of expressing you, and the things you love, around you.
