Around 67% of adults had consumed coffee more than any beverage in the past day according to NCA’s Spring 2024 National Coffee Data Trends. Whether they drink coffee for the energy it gives them, the taste of the coffee grounds, or the earthy smell of the roast, the delicious brew has so many benefits that a lot of coffee drinkers don’t know about.
People who drink coffee are less likely to develop diabetes, so they process sugars better. They also are also less likely to develop things like heart failure, Parkinson’s, Aleimer’s, and colon cancer. Drinking caffeinated coffee has also been linked to an improved mood and a lower risk of depression. Although taking coffee can sometimes cause anxiety and headaches, as long as you don’t take too much you will realize how much good coffee does to the body.
Next time you hesitate to try coffee, don’t be afraid because you think it stunts your growth. Instead, think about all the amazing benefits it has for you!
