Death metal and beauty queen and often not two things a person would pair together, however there is one extraordinary woman that did and pulled it off in an awesome yet elegant way. Her name is Ignacia Fernádez
Ignacia Fernández is a musician, vocalist, and model. She is the founder of a death metal band called Decessus and her music is on various streaming platforms. Not only is he a hardcore performer but she is also a model for Elite Model Chile.
On November ninth Ignacia Fernández was crowned as the new Miss Chile. As the current title holder this means she will get to compete in the Miss World 2026 pageant.
Ignacia shocked the crowd with her stunning and intense show during the talent portion of the pageant. Death metal is a huge part of who she is and wanted to show that to people during her performance. afterwards she took to her instagram and said, “Metal has been a fundamental part of who I am as a person and in my life: a refuge, a source of strength and purpose.”
It’s truly beautiful and sets such an example especially for the young girls looking up to her and all women like. She sets a strong sense of confidence and the idea of being unafraid and unashamed of your strengths and what you love.
Ignacia hopes that more girls pursue and proudly show what they enjoy no matter how popular or odd society finds it. Be completely and utterly yourself!
