I personally find Nightmare Before Christmas to be a classic movie. But most are not sure what season this movie fits into. Is it Christmas? Or is it Halloween? I interviewed many students and teachers to find out what they think. Let’s see what they said!
I wanted to get a wide variety of answers from people who have seen the movie, so I interviewed five

different people. Let’s start with Willow Schwartz, who is a junior.
She said, “It’s both (a Halloween and Christmas movie) that’s the point of it.”.
When interviewed, Mr. Tucker had a similar answer saying, “I think it’s a Halloween

Christmas movie”.
And Jamyson Dye stated, “It’s a movie you can watch from October through December”.
So far it has been said that The Nightmare Before Christmas is both!
But there were some people with conflicting opinions. Detective Boling claimed that it is a Christmas film.

Whereas Jack Roulst claims it’s a Halloween movie, making a hilarious argument; Where he said, “The main character’s name is Jack. Jack is not a Christmas name”.
Speaking logically, Nightmare Before Christmas came out during October in 1993. So in that sense it is a Halloween movie. On the other hand, it features both Halloween and Christmas elements. Either way, you can still enjoy the movie regardless of the season.
