Easter is just around the corner, which means Tumwater’s 29th Annual Easter Egg Dash is also very soon!
The city of Tumwater is celebrating its Annual Easter Egg Dash at Tumwater High School behind the District Stadium on the fourth of April.
There will be other activities and food booths presented at the event.
The District of Tumwater says, “Join us for Tumwater’s Annual Easter Egg Dash. 20,000 eggs will be nestled in the grassy field behind the stadium at Tumwater High School! Collect eggs filled with candy, toys, and prize coupons. Bring a basket or bag to bring home your treasures. Take a family photo with the Easter Bunny, too! Mark your calendar for this FREE event”.
The free event will not just feature the Easter Bunny but also a dash for youths with developmental and intellectual disabilities that require higher support; this will take place through a partnership with Thurston County Special Olympics.
There will be multiple age groups that will start the “dash” and rush to find as many easter eggs as they can. The segments, separated by age, are fifteen minutes long.
This is the schedule for the event:

11 a.m. Dash for youths with developmental and intellectual disabilities and other disabilities that require higher support.
11:15 a.m. Kids ages four and under.
11:30 a.m. Kids ages five to seven.
11:45 a.m. Kids ages eight to eleven.
