Winter and Christmas traditions are the best!
It’s something you do every year with your family, your friends, or on your own. So, if you don’t have

any traditions yet, this is your chance to get inspirations!
Decorations
The most obvious thing to do during the Christmas season is, of course, decorating your house. Put garlands on your stairs, get a Christmas tree, and hang stockings on the fireplace to make your house look warm and cosy.
Watching Movies
If with your friends, your family, or alone with a cup of hot chocolate, watching Christmas movies can get you into the real Christmas spirit.
Popular Christmas movies are, for example, The Holiday (2006), Love… Actually (2003), Home Alone (1990), Elf (2003), Miracle on 34th Street (1994), and How The Grinch Stole Christmas (2000).
Movies that are always a must-see in Germany are Little Lord Fauntleroy (1980) and Three Wishes for Cinderella (1973).

Baking
Baking is probably one of the most popular things to do in winter. There are so many things you can bake, including cookies, cakes, pies, cinnamon rolls, muffins, and gingerbread. Doing it with friends while listening to Christmas music is so much fun!
Ice Skating
A perfect activity to do with your friends is going ice skating. It doesn’t matter if you’re good or if you can barely stand on the ice without falling, it’s just super enjoyable hanging out and having fun with your friends!
