The poll was posted on Wednesday during the 3rd period. T-Birds had 24 hours to vote on their favorite songs available to vote from. The top song was Last Christmas! The following in second place was All I Want for Christmas Is You, and for 3rd and 4th Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree and White Christmas.

INTERVIEWS
Overall, the song Last Christmas had the most success with the voting!
So after collecting the poll results, I interviewed a few students to share their reasoning on what song they voted on.
Sophia Roberts shared, “I voted for Last Christmas because it’s nostalgic and it’s the song that makes me most excited for Christmas.”
Ruthie Colyar answered the question with “I voted last Christmas because sometimes I play it on my electric guitar and it’s really fun.”
Addy Rees said “ I voted Last Christmas because compared to the other songs I like those lyrics better and the song just has the best Christmas vibes.”
Kaylin Clark shared, “I chose Last Christmas because it’s a love song and I thought it was the best overall and it’s just a classic.”
CONCLUSION
Overall the Christmas music is a highlight of the holidays for the students here at THS. The song choices were a great reflection of the holiday season and what they love and value about Christmas.
