The book ‘Regretting You’ by Colleen Hoover was recently released as a movie on October 24th! I interviewed multiple T-birds who have watched the movie to gather their mixed opinions!

The first person I interviewed was Noora El-Mobdy, freshman. “I rate the movie Regretting You a 9/10. I like how there were a lot of different plots, it made it really interesting. Something I didn’t really like about the movie was the pacing during some scenes, like some would be rushed and others would be dragged.”
The second person I interviewed was Ava Kivela, freshman. “I would rate it as a 7/10 or 8/10 because some of the parts cringed me out, I wish they had a different director, but overall I liked the different plots.”
Izzy Gannie says, “I rate the movie a 6/10. I think the book is better than the movie because I feel like the book has more character personality than the movie. While watching the movie, it felt like the plot was messy and the connection between the characters didn’t really seem “real”.
Surprisingly, not many people have watched the movie overall, I would rate it a 7/10, I’ve never read the book, but I feel like the movie was good, the plot was ok, and I did like how there was a lot of plot, but since there was, it felt rushed. I would recommend watching the movie but reading the book first. – Dakota McDonald
