With the thankful season around the corner, it is a perfect time to pause and appreciate the little things to make our lives even better. But what is the thankful season? it is an opportunity to pause and give thanks, especially in Autumn after harvest, then formalizing that into a day of gathering and gratitude, in our case, the month of November. To capture the spirit of appreciation around our school, I spoke with students and staff to learn what they’re most thankful for this year. Their answers range from small everyday Comforts to people who mean the most to show just how much there is to appreciate and how to celebrate.
10th grader, Lily Santos, shared that she’s most thankful for her family, her friends, her dog, and simply the life she gets to live. To celebrate these blessings, she enjoys spending quality time with the people she loves and, of course, enjoying good food together.
