As the last echoes of Halloween fade, the eerie glow of Jack-O-Lanterns dim, the dry rustling of leaves disappear under blankets of snow, and the costumes tucked away, the quiet anticipation for the holiday season builds. The cozy warmth of December and November, the smells of sugar cookies and pine, and the excitement of whats awaiting under the tree come Christmas morning. With the fast approaching holiday season the common question arises, Christmas music before or after Thanksgiving.

Kelcey O’Brien explained, “Christmas music before Thanksgiving for sure.”

Morgan Wilson says,”Before Thanksgiving obviously.”
Ava Bunn commented, “I listen to Christmas music way before Thanksgiving and my favorite Christmas song to listen to is All I Want For Christmas Is You by Mariah Carey. “

Amelia Murphey explained,“I listen to Christmas music starting November 1, and I listen to Indian Christmas music.”

Finley Bowers says, “I listen to Christmas music at the end of November so after Thanksgiving and my favorite Christmas song is Jingle Bells.”
Georgia Burner explained, “Before Thanksgiving for sure.”
Noora El-Mobdy, a freshman, says “Obviously before Thanksgiving, my favorite Christmas song to listen to is All I Want For Christmas Is You.”
Natalia Llamas Guerrero commented, “After Thanksgiving and my favorite song to listen to is All I Want For Christmas Is You.”

Reese Bradley says, “I listen to Christmas after Thanksgiving.”
Mayah Brantely explained, “Before Thanksgiving, my favorite Christmas song to listen to is Mistletoe by Justin Bieber.”
Based on the interviews of fellow THS students, listening to Christmas music before Thanksgiving is most common. Listening to Christmas music before provides holiday spirit and emotional comfort sparking tradition and old memories.
