It’s fall time, and that means all the activities that go with it. There is making apple cider, dressing up for Halloween, baking fall treats, wearing over-sized sweaters, and of course, the pumpkin patch! Some don’t like to do all that stuff, but others live for fall time. What do the students of THS do in their free time during the fall?
Questions I asked:
Do you like fall?
Have you or are you gone to a pumpkin patch this year?
Do you get a pumpkin to carve? Or just go there for photos and the food?
Vanessa Turner:

When asked about her feelings on fall, she said, “ I love fall!”
That’s another reason she participated in fall activities.
Some activities she has participated in this fall include pumpkin carving, visiting the pumpkin patch, and completing the haunted corn maze. Her experience of the haunted corn maze at Rutledge with friends was very fun.
“It’s scary but super fun, and I definitely recommend it to others. Also, the scare actors are really friendly if they notice you are petrified!”

“ Fall time is my favorite month… no season! ”
Ruthie loves fall time so much but she is sad she did not get to participate in any this year, BUT she plannes on doing all the winter activities. Her favorite one being ice skating!
One of the activities she is upset about not doing the most is not going to the pumpkin patch. Ruthie told me, “ I went to all the pumpkin patches last year, and i’m sad I did not this year because they were all so cute!”
Whether it’s carving pumpkins, getting lost in a haunted corn maze, or simply soaking up the cozy atmosphere, everyone celebrates the season in their own way. Some may not have had the chance to join in on every fall activity this year, but there’s always something to look forward to, like the winter fun just around the corner!
