Before seeing the show, I asked a few of the cast members, “Why do you think people should go see ‘Clue’?”
Fisher Abbott, who will be playing the beloved character Colonel Mustard, responded to the question, “First of all, it’s a murder mystery, there’s juicy drama, an illegal green card affair, and a romance involving me.”
Natalie Seaton excitedly answered the question, “It’s really awesome and fun. The whole crew put a lot of work into this play and people will really enjoy it because it’s really funny.”
Fiyero Barehand, playing Mr. Boddy–a man of few words–thinks people should go to the play, “because it’s very funny and the set is one of the grandest made so far.”
With stunning performances from every cast member and the impressive set design, there was not one moment where I wasn’t entranced by the efforts of the Tumwater Theater. From the moment the curtains opened till the cast bowed, I was on the edge of my seat, cracking up laughing. Tanner Eby struck awe throughout the crowd with his absolutely hilarious monologue as Mr. Wadsworth. Alex Crow played the lovable goof, Mr. Green, to perfection. Fisher Abott was stellar, as usual, and comically aloof playing Colonel Mustard. There’s not enough I can say about the spectacular result of the work the Tumwater Theater put in, and everybody involved should be deeply proud of themselves. I was just blown away by everything that was displayed, and I can’t wait to go see the next play–as everybody else should.
