With the season visibly changing we get to see the beautiful fall color pallet painted on the trees around us. Obviously we want to capture this beautiful scene due to the rather fleeting time it tends to hang around.
We snap photos on cameras and cell phones, We pose and post the prettiest versions.
If your a lover of photography or a lover of fall, or even both! Your sure to be interested in fall photo shoot spots. I researched and curated some of the best and most gorgeous spots for by far the most surreal fall pics in Washington. Lets dive in together!
Up first is Yellow Aster Butte. Yellow Aster Butte is located in the Mount Baker wilderness in the northern cascades region of Washington near the Canadian border. Located about three hours away from Seattle at an elevation of 2,700ft. The peak is in Whatcom County, within the Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest. This gorgeous hike highlights the vibrant fall foliage scattered across the land. 
Up next is Cascade Pass and Sahale Arm. Cascade Pass and Sahale Arm in autumn offers us a wide range of beautiful colors, particularly in late September to mid October with peak viewing time being in early October. Featuring many lush meadows and prairies full of red and yellow berry bushes and various foliage. The trail to Cascade Pass is a series of gentle switchbacks, while the path to Sahale Arm is steeper. Higher elevations can be windy, cold, and muddy, especially if the ground freezes and thaws during the day. But in the end its definitely worth the view.
Lastly and my personal favorite, Crescent Lake. Crescent Lake in the autumn months offers truly surreal scenery, less crowded conditions, and offers activities like hiking the trail all around the lake and fishing. This gorgeous mural of nature’s beauty is made of crisp clear blue water however swimming isn’t recommended during the colder months due to the freezing water temperatures, unless your looking for a polar plunge!
