Tumwater High School has a lot to offer for each and every student whether you like sports, theater, and much more! Our schools widely talked about competitive sports teams are a great way of getting involved creating great friendships, but also our amazing theater program opens up lots of opportunities to meet new people and try new things.
I interviewed Cole Nelson, a senior at THS, and he said “I think the best thing Tumwater has to offer is the strong community outside of school, with the sporting events and just the community events.”
I asked Hadley Prothero what her favorite thing Tumwater has to offer was and she said during t-bird time, “ Me, Jenica, and Sophia sit in the career center, and that’s a lot of fun.”
The career center and library, like most places around campus, are a great place to spend your t-bird time!
T-bird time was a popular answer to this big question, and for many great reasons. There are many ways you can spend your t-bird, whether you use your time to study, meet with friends, or sit in your favorite teachers classroom!
Clubs are a great way here at THS to get involved, there are many choices to choose from and trying as many as you can is strongly recommended trying a new one every friday!
When I asked Olivia Riste, a freshman here at THS, what her favorite thing THS has to offer was, she answered with, “It’s definitely Young life.” Young life among all the clubs THS has to offer is a great one with activities and a great message. If you have nothing to do during T-bird time, Young life club could be a great option.
Overall we have a variety of amazing options for everyone, it’s an important thing that THS takes pride in being able to have so many things to offer.
