HAVE or HATE

As Halloween approaches, you go door to door wishing for your favorite candy to be handed out… You get home, and your bag of candy is all candy you hate!

The THS Talon wonders, “What are the freshmen’s favorite and least favorite candies?” I interviewed four freshmen and gathered their opinions on Halloween candies.

“My favorite Halloween candy is Milky Ways, and my least favorite Halloween candy is Almond Joys. I don’t like Almond Joys because they taste gross.”- Izzy Gannie, 9.

“My favorite Halloween candy is 100 Grand or Nerds gummy clusters; they taste exquisite. My least favorite is Almond Joys because they taste like butter.” – Luna Gutierrez, 9.

“I’d have to say my favorite Halloween candy is Nerds, especially the gummy clusters. The Halloween candy I don’t like is candy corn because it’s overrated.”- Julius Glynn 9.

“My favorite Halloween candy is M&M’s, specifically the peanut ones! My least favorite Halloween candy is either Almond Joys or Butterfingers. I dislike Butterfingers because of the texture, I like M&M’s because of the peanuts and chocolate.”- Dakota McDonald, 9. (me)
